A collection of 55 unique original NFT images, all created using a single photo of a 220 million year old treek trunk.

These images were obtained using various methods (often improvised.

I tried to to apply the same methods to the trunk of a tree which was knocked down in a recent wind storm, but it didn't work. No matter what I tried I simply could not get any interesting colors or effects.

The fact that the petrified (fossilized) tree went through so many environmental conditions and transformations over such a long period of time is what makes such a big difference in image processing.

From start to finish I worked on the Petrified collection a total of 153 hours over a period of 19 days. No batch processing, each image was created one at a time, each one is asbsolutely unique.

A series of 33 unique original images, all created using the same photo of a 220 million year old treek trunk.

These images were obtained using various methods (often improvised (different compared to the processes used in creating the Petrified collection).

These images really bring out the trauma the original tree went through for when it was probably burried alive and the chaotic geological conditions that followed and caused it to fossilize into petrified wood.

In deciding a name for this collection, I hesitated between "Fury" and "Chaos", either one would be appropriate but I chose the latter in the end.

From start to finish I worked on the "Chaos" collection a total of 81 hours over a period of 10 days.. No batch processing, each image was created one at a time, each one is asbsolutely unique.
